We can use this form:
Seem to be + Gerund/Noun/Adjective
- Jason seems to be talking about work. (I think Jason is talking about work.)
- She doesn't seem to be sleeping well. (I don't think she is sleeping well.)
- The weather seems to be getting better. (Judging from what I can see, the weather is getting better.)
- His work seems to be improving.
- You don't seem to be having problems.
- They seem to be in love with each other.
- The grapes seem to be sour.
We can use seem with there:
- The traffic is really bad, there seems to be an accident.
- There seems to be an explosion.
- There does not seem to be an American.
Or we can say:
They seem to be having an argument.
