Wah How to use How would you like it if...?

We use How would you like it if + past simple to ask someone's felling or idea about what if something happened?

• How would you like it if someone stole your mobile phone?
• How would you like it if your car was destroyed?
• How would you like it if you had to get up at 5 p.m. every day?
• How would you like it if you had to be stuck in traffic for 3 hours every day?
• How would you like it if someone called you a liar?
• How would you like it if a stranger was standing in your living room?

How would you like it if you didn't have any nice clothes to wear?

Wah How to use Thought + Could / Would for suggestions.

There are many different ways to make suggestions.   
    Wah How to use "Ought to"

We can also use Thought + Could / Would to make suggestions.
    I thought we could go out together on this Saturday. 
    ( = Why don't we go out together on this Saturday.)
    I thought we would have a 5-minute break. 
    ( = Let's have a break.)
    I thought we could take a vacation in Tokyo next month. 
    ( = Let's go to Tokyo for our vacation next month.)
